When I opened Ewe & Brew almost five years ago, my heart was for this to be a place where new knitters could come and ask questions, learn new skills and fall for the fiber arts. We also encouraged you all to challenge yourselves with other classes, like double knitting and stranded knitting. We have had some great knit-alongs too and some gorgeous projects have come off your talented needles! The Goldfish Memory and Find Your Fade knit-alongs come immediately to my mind. We have also hosted the Idaho Tour, where again a challenge was given and many of you rose to the challenge of just how much you knit in one month and you did it!
The other part of this business was to highlight local and smaller regional yarn companies and through the door we have been delighted as you have found Imperial Yarn, SpinCycle, Elemental Affects, Mountain Colors, Greenwood Fiberworks, Alexander’s Crafts, Acid Veil Dyeworks, Lux Adorna Knits, MJ Yarns, Palouse Yarn Company, Raven Ridge Fiber Arts, and our newest local dyer, SewHappyJane to create some gorgeous projects with.
I have enjoyed meeting so many of you and cheering on your success but have decided that this chapter of my fiber journey needs to come to an end.
So with that we will begin discounting inventory these next two weeks, with a closing date of November 18th so shop now for the best selection. All IKEA cabinets are on sale as well, so if you need a way to organize that stash, these cabinets are great!
Gift certificates are still accepted as are rewards for those who have already earned them as of October 21st. No refunds or returns. All sales will be final.
Classes that are in progress will continue as will support for the Veronika and Hitofude cardigans. Knit Night will continue as well on Thursday nights.
Thank you for sharing in this journey!
